Secretary Li Tianan Led aDelegation to Universities in Thailand, Singapore and Research Centers

 

From June 30th to July7th, Li Tian'an, secretary of the Chongqing Jiaotong University Party Committee,led a delegation to Thailand and Singapore, paid a visit to King Mongkut'sInstitute of Technology Ladkrabang(KMITL), Rajamangala University of TechnologyIsan,Khon Kaen (RMUTI), Nanyang TechnologicalUniversity(NTU),Embry-Riddle AeronauticalUniversity(Asia) and Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre(Singapore)in succession. Negotiating several cooperation projects, he signed threecooperation agreements.The visit was a completesuccess. The relevant officials of the Academic Affairs Office, the CivilEngineering College, the Transportation College, the Aviation College and theInternational Office were in the delegation.

On July first, Secretary Li visited KMITL and was warmlywelcomed by Chaiyan Jettanasan, Vice President of KMITL and relevant officials.Both sides signed the memorandum of cooperation promising future cooperation inresearch fields.

From July 2nd to 3rd，the school delegationpaid a visit to Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Khon Kaen, reachedan agreement of joint construction of China-Thailand Smart TransportationCollege. The unveiling and signing ceremony were held that overseen by theleaders and officials, which marked the foundation of first oversea instituteof CQJTU. There will be mutual  

benefit and win-win cooperationbetween these two universities.

On July 5th thedelegation of CQJTU came to visit National Institute of Education, NanyangTechnological University, Singapore. After a tour of campus, two partiesfocused on the teacher’s overseas training programs and discussed cooperationin aviation, nautical and mechanical fields. An invitation to the conferenceheld in our university in November was sent to these scholars.

After the end of visit to NTU, ourdelegation went to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University(Asia) on the same day.Secretary Li signed a cooperation agreement of 2+2 Joint Training Project inAviation on the basis of discussion in depth.

During the days, theypaid a visit to Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre, Singapore,former president of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University(Asia) and Dr. ZengZeng.
